Johnston Fabrications – Shop Policies

                                       (Please read before placing an order)


1. Orders, Quotes & Payments

  • All quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin design or production.

  • Some large, bulk, or specialty orders may require full payment upfront.

  • No payment = no work started.

  • Remaining balances must be paid before pickup or shipping.


2. Turnaround Times

  • Turnaround times begin after payment is received and final approval is given.

  • Estimated turnaround:

    • DTF Prints / Gang Sheets: 24–72 business hours (excluding weekends/holidays or stated otherwise)

    • Custom CNC, Laser & Metal Work: Timeframes provided per order

  • Rush orders may be available for an additional fee if our schedule allows.


3. Proofs & Approvals

  • Proofs are provided for most custom orders.

  • Customer approval is required before production.

  • Once approved, no changes can be made without additional charges.

  • Johnston Fabrications is not responsible for errors after approval.


4. Cancellations & Changes

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

  • Changes after approval may result in:

    • Additional fees

    • Extended turnaround time

  • Orders canceled after production has started forfeit all payments.


5. Pickup & Shipping

  • Local pickup must be arranged within 7 days of order completion unless otherwise discussed.

  • Shipping:

    • Tracking will be provided when applicable.

    • We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather issues, or lost packages once shipped.


6. Refunds & Returns

  • Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final.

  • Refunds or remakes are only considered if:

    • The error was ours, and

    • We are notified within 48 hours of delivery or pickup

  • No refunds for:

    • Customer-provided errors

    • Design changes after approval

    • Normal wear and use


7. Customer-Supplied Items

  • We are not responsible for damage to customer-supplied items.

  • No refunds or replacements will be issued for customer-supplied materials.


8. Communication & Business Hours

  • Business hours: 9am.-3pm.

  • Messages are answered during business hours only.

  • Messages sent nights, weekends, or holidays will be responded to the next business day.


9. Respectful Business Policy

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to:

    • Inappropriate behavior

    • Harassment

    • Repeated policy violations

    • Timeframe Restrictions
  • We are a small, family-run business and expect respectful communication.

10. Policy Agreement

  • Placing an order with Johnston Fabrications means you agree to these policies.

  • Policies are subject to change without notice.
